Hello, Thunderbolt Valley community!

My name is Matt DeJong, and it is with immense enthusiasm, a sense of pride, and gratitude that I serve as the principal of Rye High School. I am extremely excited to be working with our phenomenal educational team and students here.

Rye High School has a rich history of success and a strong foundation built by our dedicated staff, talented students, and supportive community. I am committed to building on this excellent foundation, ensuring that our school continues to thrive and provide the best possible education and experiences for our students.

I am excited to continue forward with the principles that define our Thunderbolt community: Tradition ● Unity ● Excellence. Together, we will honor this valley’s rich history, foster a united and inclusive environment for our students, and strive for the highest standards in all of our pursuits.
