Welcome

Dissention among citizens in the United States has led to a decision to review copyright law.  Technology is currently moving so quickly that it is nearly impossible to "police" the law.  Many groups now believe that the laws are unfairly upheld and that the majority of citizens routinely break the law but only a select few are ever punished.  Many are mixed in views concerning copyright.  While some protection might be needed, they think the current level will make it increasingly difficult to progress as a society because advancements are contributable to past knowledge.  Other groups argue that the laws are essential.  Without protection, new developments would cease because creators would not be paid for works as publishing companies, producers, etc. would be forced out of business.  Under the orders of the President, a committee has been formed to make a final decision about copyright law.  As top experts in your fields,  you are about to embark on a mission to fully explore the ramifications resulting from doing away with copyright protection.    Through your efforts, you will make recommendations to the copyright counsel that will have a heavy impact on the final decision.  Journey safe but be fast, the President is depending on YOU!
