Biology:  A living organism is a delicate, simple, yet wondrous thing.  Here on Earth, we have a huge assortment of living things, from the enormous humpback whale, down to the microscopic bacteria found deep within the Earth's crust.

In this class, we will attempt to answer a lot of the basic questions regarding life, such as:  What are the different types of organisms and how did they get here?  How do cells work together to form a large, complex, organism?  How does life perpetuate itself, and how has life changed over time?

We will attempt to answer these and other questions, including the role human beings play, as well as how the human body itself works.  We will study everything from Cell Biology and Genetics, to the Human Body and its various systems.  We will also learn about the diversity of life here on earth, and how they work together with other organisms and the environment to form Earth's various ecosystems.
